Wintery Moonrise

Winter is quickly approaching in many parts of the US. Over the last month, I’ve been watching dustings of snow gather on the nearby mountain peaks here in Colorado. I’ve been feeling the chill in the air. I’ve been daydreaming of admiring the prestine scenes of the beautiful, white Rockies. I’ve also been seeing incredible moon-rises, emerging from behind the mountains. So I sat down in the studio and put these fun impressions together and this little painting emerged. I hope that someone connects with this scene as much as I do or maybe more =)
